At the end of the third year of the Upper School (Y9), students of Italian L1 INC take the Licenza Media examination. The students sit the exam as private candidates but they are vouched for by teachers of the Sir James Henderson. The teachers undertake to sign the syllabuses and to present the profiles of the candidates to the examination commission at the Scuola Media serving as an exam centre.
In the history of the school, students have always obtained outstanding results, which reflects the high quality of their preparation for the exams.
IB DIPLOMA
Student will be evaluated using the Language A Diploma Program Assessment Criteria and will receive grades based on the IB GRADING SCALE (1-7) The assessment criteria will include: understanding of the text, interpretation of the text, appreciation of literary features, presentation and formal use of language.
