ITALIAN NATIONAL CURRICULUM (I.N.C.) PRESENTATION OF THE COURSES
The introduction of the IB at the SJHS has led to several reforms in the teaching of Italian, mainly because the IB is recognized by Italian Universities and therefore the “Esame di Idoneità” will no longer be required at the end of Year 13 (effective for the academic year 2009-2010). This has repercussions for all Key Stages in the Upper School.
With effect from the 2008 – 2009 school year, Sir James Henderson British school of Milan offers the following Italian courses (L1).
1) Italian L1 course INC to prepare students for the Italian Scuola media exams (hereinafter referred to as L1 “Italian National Curriculum” (L1 INC) 2) Italian L1 course 3) Italian Pre IB course 4) Italian A1 HL/SL
